respond to your enquiry about proofreading services
allow me to contact you when I am working on your project
keep a record of your agreement to my terms and conditions of service
invoice you for my services
receive your payment of service fees and issue you with a receipt

What I don’t do with your information

I do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you have expressed permission in writing.

I do not lease, distribute or sell your information to third parties unless I am required to do so by law (e.g. to comply with a tax audit).

How I store and protect your data

Australian law requires that I keep records of our business for 5 years.

The data you share with me is stored on these servers:

WordPress. This is my website host. My website has an SSL certificate (https). Access to the backend of my website is protected by password and two-factor authentication. You can read the WordPress privacy policy here.
Stripe. This is the payment processor connected to my WordPress website. Stripe encrypts all of your card data, meaning it is never visible to either me or WordPress. Access to my Stripe account is protected by password and two-factor authentication. You can read the Stripe privacy policy here.
Titan. This is the email platform I use to communicate with you. Access to my email account is protected by password and two-factor authentication. You can read the Titan privacy policy here.

In the event of a security breach of any of the systems that I use, I will notify you promptly.

How I use cookies

When you visit my website, a small file called a cookie is placed on your computer. This is an analytics cookie which allows my website host to tell me how many views each page of my site has received and where those views have originated.
